IT as a Service

Example: IT as a Service

Overview:

The company had 250 employees in 7 different cities in the U.S.  The company wanted to have a cost-effective solution for sharing files across offices and with clients.  Files included blueprints and other design documents.

Actions Taken:

Develop a list of requirements and review buy vs. build options.  After determining that  renting a solution was the most cost-effective approach to implement the firm’s requirements, Mplementer developed a vendor search and helped the client select Citrix Sharefile Virtual Data Room as a SAAS solution.

Results:

For approximately $300 per month, the firm was able to implement a cost-effective solution that clients found extremely favorable.  Costs were ultimately passed along to the clients (e.g. clients had an option for a nominal fee to have documents available online) and the solution more than paid for itself.
